Edition #0: Welcome to SeriousXM!
Welcome to the independent newsletter that will cover all of SiriusXM.
Hello to all! Today is Monday, June 6th, 2022 and welcome to the first-ever edition of the SeriousXM newsletter! I’m so appreciative and grateful to have you on board with us. This will be the ULTIMATE newsletter that will cover everything you need to know about the SiriusXM Satellite Radio service and what’s happening inside. And there’s more than just a channel change or two.
In this newsletter, you will receive the latest news regarding the service, whether its a new package plan, a new show coming into a new channel, or someone who’s either joining the team, getting promoted, or even getting fired, you’ll be able to hear about it here on this newsletter. But, wait… there’s more!
You will also receive the latest programming changes as SiriusXM usually makes several lineup moves per year. There’s always something new that’s being added or dropped on the lineup and while most of the popular channels stick around, others sometimes join in or even fade to streaming, and are eventually gone for good. I’ll cover it all here.
Also covered in this newsletter, you’ll receive the latest events that are taking place, and yes, I will even showcase old lineups from back in the day. SiriusXM has been around for 20 years now and there are channels that have come and gone over the years. Some have been missed while others, not so much. I’ll post the photos and talk about those channels so we can all reminisce (more on how you can contribute to this part in just a bit.)
There is no newsletter devoted to this service and I hope to shake up all of that and that you’ll join me for the ride on this one.
But, I hope to not do this all alone. While I am a one-man band in this operation, there will be some features that I may do in which I hope you’ll help me in all of this. Your contributions will be eternally grateful and will be shared by all fans and aficionados of the service. If you have any videos of the service or photos of old lineups or even audio of anything, share them with me on my email! The email I’ll use for now is roly4266@gmail.com. Send them my way!
This is a special welcome edition so don’t expect any SiriusXM news at all on this one, but I will have news and all those features moving forward in subsequent editions. In fact, the next edition of the newsletter will cover what has been a wild two-three weeks in the headlines for SiriusXM so we can all catch up to speed.
While what features will be scheduled for the newsletter have yet to be determined, once a week, there will be an edition for the latest news, and once a week, another edition focused on throwbacks and channel shoutouts, which will include old lineups and channels and those that are still on the service today so make sure you receive them in your inbox.
Finally, I would like to point out that while this is FREE and will remain FREE, I may open up an optional donation page so I can turn this newsletter into an independent journalism project for myself, which will also help me keep going since I’m not working at the moment. Anything spent on this project will come out of my own money unfortunately so donations will be greatly appreciated once I open one up.
I thank you for reading and for subscribing to my newsletter. The latest news will come forward in subsequent editions so stay tuned. Have a great Monday, have a great week, and remember… I’m always Serious about SiriusXM.
P.S., I am not affiliated or connected to SiriusXM or SiriusXM Holdings, Inc. in any way whatsoever. I’m a regular everyday American who uses the service with the apps on my smartphone, my tablet, my smart devices (smart TV, Roku, Google Nest Hub), and my SiriusXM Wi-Fi Sound Station on a Streaming Platinum plan.
Have any questions, comments, suggestions, or even news tips? The SeriousXM Feedback Email Line will be open all the time so email me at roly4266@gmail.com (no spam, please).
